WORK DESCRIPTION Bid improvements consist of open channel earth-lined canal replacement with new concrete-lined canal , and road improvements, drainage, earthwork and other work, all in accordance with the contract plans, the contract provisions, and the specifications. The improvements are for construction of water conservation and operational improvements to the District system. Requested work follows the existing North Branch Pump Lateral alignment Requested work follows the existing North Branch Pump Lateral Canal alignment starting downstream of 4 th Parallel Road for 7200 feet. The project improvements in this document are for roadway and canal lining improvements described as work related to canal improvements between Stations 73 +00 to 145+00. The drawings included in this package cover the entire North Branch Pump Lateral project segment, beginning downstream of the Wippel Pump Lateral Pipe Outlet and extending approximately 25,925 feet to the Pump Lateral Wasteway. However, the majority of this segment is not included in the scope of this bid . Total bonding capacity for this reach is estimated at $3,500,000 to $4,000,000.
