Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lorain, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Removal, disposal, and installation of a new 24 inch insulated, concrete-lined Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) standpipe at the Fulton Water Tower, approximately 125 feet in length. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, Performance Bond required (unspecified amount). The City of Lorain is requesting bid proposals for the removal, disposal, and installation of a new standpipe at their Fulton Water Tower. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and accessories to complete the project. The standpipe to be removed is a 24" insulated, concrete- lined Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP). The length of pipe to be replaced and installed is approximately 125' (the contractor shall determine the exact length) and shall be like-in- kind to the existing standpipe described as above and/or detailed in the project specifications. Pipe installed shall be disinfected and protected from contamination throughout the installation process in accordance with AWWA standards. .
