Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Acton, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; fitness / recreation center; and fitness / recreation center.
The Town of Acton is currently accepting proposals for the following demolition project: Complete demolition of a 40x60 concrete block building with three interior walls at 35 H Road, Acton. The bid must include 100% of all off site removal of the material to a designated certified site. The completed site will be a gravel base and be prepared for asphalt. The winning contactor must have liability insurance, workers compensation, or proof of the State of Maine compensation exemption prior to beginning the job. The Select Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
