Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2689800 WIN 026898.00 Location: In Somerset County, Anson: Robert Garland Bridge (No. 2615) on River Road/ US 201A/ State Route 8 approximately 200 feet south of Elm Street/ State Route 16 junction. Fairfield: Kennebec River Center and Kennebec River West Bridge (No. 1522, 1523) on Bridge Street/ State Route 100, 139 approximately 150 feet easterly of US 201 junction. In Somerset and Kennebec County, Fairfield Benton: Kennebec River East Bridge (No. 3106) on Bridge Street/ State Route 100, 139 approximately 0.2 of a mile east of US 201 junction. Fairfield - Clinton: George W. Hinckley Bridge (No. 3389) on Hinckley Road/ State Route 23 approximately 0.1 of a mile east of Skowhegan Road/ US 201 junction. In Kennebec County, Benton: Veterans Memorial Bridge (No. 3667) on Sebasticook Bridge Road approximately 250 feet east of Bangor Road/State Route 11/100 junction. Waterville: West River Road Connector Bridge (No. 6374) on Abenaki Road approximately 0.1 of a mile east of West River Road/State Route 104 junction. Waterville Winslow: Donald V. Carter Bridge (No. 1141) on Carter Memorial Drive/ State Route 137 approximately 0.2 of a mile west of Augusta Road/US 201/ State Route 100 junction. Scope of Work: Robert Garland, Kennebec River Center, Kennebec River West, Kennebec River East, George W. Hinckley, Veterans Memorial, West River Road Connector, and Donald V. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid. amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
