SCOPE OF WORK The following scope of work is being proposed for the 2025 Loring Avenue Reconstruction Project for the City of Auburn. The scope of work is a brief overview of the expected extent of work on each street included in this contract. This is only a proposed scope with associated estimated quantities. Items, extent, and entire streets may be added or deleted as work progresses or to meet the available funding for this work. Reference Conceptual Plans. Loring Avenue - South Main Street to Seventh Street o Proposed dimensions: 2,080' x 24'-28' o Remove existing drainage infrastructure. o Box cut the road for typical installation of 15" - Type D, 3" - Type A, 2" 12.5mm base, and 1.5" 9.5mm surface. o Install new drainage infrastructure. o Reset existing granite curb and set in concrete in areas shown on plans. o Install new slipform concrete curbing. o Paint high visibility stop bars. o Butt joints shall be constructed at affected intersections. o Match driveway aprons. 12" Type A gravel, 2" 12.5mm HMA base, 1" 9.5mm HMA surface. o Loam, seed and mulch disturbed lawn/grass areas and as directed.
