Renovation of a detention facility in Auburn, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Androscoggin County Facility Department is seeking a qualified vendor to supply/install new heat pumps. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the County. Questions regarding this bid/proposal shall be accepted until 2:00 PM, Monday April 28, 2025. Androscoggin County reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids, should it be deemed in the best interest of the County to do so. Requirements of this RFP Each bidder must demonstrate compliance with all specifications outlined in the RFP. Any items not specifically mentioned but necessary for supplying the requested equipment are considered incidental and should be included in a lump-sum price, unless a detailed breakdown is requested. Bidders must clearly note any deviations from the specifications. Each bidder must provide a warranty period for the equipment supplied. The equipment must be completely inspected and/or serviced by the bidder before delivery to prevent delays caused by damaged products. Bidders will be an efficiency of Maine partner and will process this for the best available price. All products must be from a U.S.A.-owned company. Vendors must follow the Davis-Bacon Act, specifically WD ME20250004 , for prevailing wages
