The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and certified personnel necessary to remove and replace the failed compressor for the existing AHU 21 chiller system. Work includes removal of the failed Copeland Scroll compressor, Model ZP180KCE-TWD-961, and installation of a new one-for-one replacement compatible with existing pipe sizes and connections, including oil change and any required system flushing, acid testing, and controls integration. The compressor operates in tandem with an existing unit that shall remain in place. The contractor is responsible for all electrical disconnect and reconnect activities, ensuring full system functionality after installation, and completing all required testing and reporting. Services also include project management, coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative, submission of RFIs and submittals, attendance at meetings, compliance with VA infection control, interim life safety, hot work, and wall penetration permit requirements, and adherence to all federal, state, local, and VA regulations. All work shall be performed by properly certified installers, comply with OSHA and VA safety requirements, and be completed during normal business hours unless otherwise approved. The contractor shall handle procurement and disposal of all materials, daily debris removal as required, limited on-site storage coordination, and final site restoration. All work and equipment shall be warranted for a minimum of one year from VA acceptance. Location: Togus VA Medical Center, 1 VA Center, Augusta, ME 04330
