The requirement consists of upgrading the existing fire alarm system at Crescent House to the Edwards EST4 platform. Work includes providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and technical expertise necessary to replace the current fire alarm control panel and compatible devices with a new EST4 system that meets or exceeds NFPA 72, VA Fire Protection Design Manual, and local authority having jurisdiction requirements. Services include conducting a pre-installation site assessment; preparing detailed design documents, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and submittals for VA and AHJ approval; furnishing and installing all UL-listed EST4 equipment and associated field devices; removing obsolete system components; coordinating with related trades; performing complete testing, commissioning, and documentation; training facility staff on system operation and maintenance; and providing a minimum one-year warranty and post-installation technical support. All work shall be performed in accordance with VA standards while minimizing disruption to building occupants and operations. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
