The project includes constructing a new 6' paved walkway and new bike route along 14th Street from the Kenduskeag Stream Parking Lot to Ohio Street, in Bangor, Maine, and will include some curb replacement, new catch basins and other incidental work. The 14th Street Walkway/ Bike Route Project is a Federal Aid Project No. 2847400, MaineDOT WIN 028474.00, located along a portion of 14th Street starting at Kenduskeag Stream Park and extending westerly 0.55 miles to Ohio Street, Bangor, Maine. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price will be required in the form of cash, a certified check or bid bond. The lowest bidder must have successfully completed a Highway or project-specific prequalification for Bangor to be considered for the award of this contract. All questions regarding any of the above items are to be directed to the bids@bangormaine.gov email. Questions will be received until 4:30 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
