Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bangor, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A bid security will be required consisting of a 5 percent (5%) Bid Bond or a Certified Check in lieu of the Bid Bond is required. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the value of the work are required. Scope of Work Summary: Coordinate electrical utility extension of 3 phase overhead power from Ohio Street along Blue Hill West continuing about 1,000'+- to a Riser Pole to the northeast side of Downeast School. Install transformer vault, underground primary from transformer brackets at pole. Contractor shall provide open trench survey. Provide new underground conduits, conductors, to service disconnect and existing MDP. Remove and dispose of existing poles, transformers, etc. The contractor shall furnish all of the materials and perform all the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications entitled: Electrical Service at the Downeast School Prepared by Carpenter Associates, 687 Stillwater Avenue, Old Town, Maine 04468 acting as and in these contract documents entitled the architect and/or engineer, and shall do everything required by this agreement, the general conditions and special provisions of the contract, the specifications and the drawings.
