Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Bangor, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.
The City of Bangor is inviting proposals for the supply, delivery, and installation of a new waste oil furnace at the Fleet Maintenance Facility, located at 481 Maine Avenue, Bangor, Maine. The requirements for furnishing, delivering, and installing the unit are detailed in the attached specifications and the following conditions. Any questions must be directed, in writing, to bids@bangormaine.gov no later than 4:30 P.M., Friday, October 6, 2023. The City will release a response by 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the form of an addendum, which will be accessible on the online. Proposers must ensure their proposals reach the Purchasing Department before the submission deadline. Any late proposals or revisions will be returned unopened. Proposers cannot withdraw their proposals for ninety (90) days after the opening date. The City can accept proposals during this time. If a Proposer wants to withdraw their proposal before the opening, they must make a written request. All costs related to the withdrawal, such as mailing fees, are the responsibility of the Proposer. The City of Bangor reserves the right to reject proposals, waive defects, or accept a higher cost proposal if it benefits the City's best interest. The City can also negotiate with the successful Proposer.
