Demolition, site work and paving for a civil project in Biddeford, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The demolition and disposal of existing walls and overlook deck, removal of existing riprap protection at the failed wall section, soil excavations and disposal, installation of water control, construction of a permanent soldier pile and lagging retaining wall and concrete end walls in the replacement area, soil backfilling, construction of a new overlook deck, removal and replacement of an existing subsurface water pipe, site restoration, and removal and processing of the stone access road in the Saco River and hauling the processed stone to the City of Biddeford DPW facility. In water work as part of this project includes all work completed from the stone access road and removal of the stone access road. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Agreement Between Owner and Contractor" as follows: 240 calendar days for substantial completion & 270 calendar days for final completion. All in water work shall be completed on or before April 1, 2025.
