Request for Proposals Town of Bradley Request for Proposals Shim and Overlay The Town of Bradley is seeking requests for proposals for a Shim and 2" Overlay of Penney Lane and Pothole Repair, and a 2" Overlay of Elm Street. GENERAL INFORMATION A. Penney Lane Paving (Shim and Overlay) _ Location: Penney Lane, from Route 178 (Main Street) to the mailbox area before the trailer park entrance. _ Overview: The Town requests a shim and overlay of 2-inch asphalt on Penney Lane. The estimated project length is 1,100 linear feet, with the road width varying between 20 feet and 22 feet. _ Details: The overlay will restore the surface, improve drivability, and extend the lifespan of the road. B. Elm Street Paving (Pothole Repair and Overlay) _ Location: Elm Street, a section that requires pothole repairs and a full roadway overlay. _ Overview: The Town requests the repair of potholes along Elm Street and the application of a 2 inch asphalt overlay across the entire road section. The estimated project length is 740 linear feet, with the road width varying from 14 feet to 19 feet. _ Details: All damaged areas (potholes) will need to be fully repaired, followed by the application of an asphalt overlay to ensure a smooth, durable surface. SCOPE OF WORK _ Mobilization of equipment and personnel to the work site. _ The Contractor shall be responsible for the safety of its personnel, equipment, and any subcontractors under its supervision. _ The Contractor shall provide sufficient personnel, supplies and equipment to complete the scope of services for these projects. _ The Contractor will be responsible for layout work, proper signage and traffic control.
