Site work for a civil project in Caribou, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Caribou Utilities District is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for a comprehensive wastewater infrastructure improvement program serving the Caribou wastewater collection and treatment system. The program may include improvements to pump stations, force mains, wastewater treatment facilities, headworks infrastructure, SCADA systems, standby power systems, and associated appurtenances. The project is expected to be funded in part by the EPA Community Grants Program, FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, and the Maine Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Procurement will follow a Qualifications-Based Selection process in accordance with the Brooks Act, 2 CFR Part 200, and all applicable federal and state requirements. Cost or pricing information should not be submitted and will be negotiated with the selected firm. Statements of Qualifications must be submitted electronically in PDF format by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be considered. The District encourages participation from small, minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises. The District reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive minor informalities, and select the firm deemed to be in its best interest.
