Site work and renovation of a civil project in Caribou, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the supply and installation of a new backup power generator to service both the wastewater treatment facility and the Grimes Road wastewater pump station (PS#2), which is the stations influent pump station and both facilities are located at the same site. The project also includes removal of the old generator, fuel tanks, and some electrical and controls upgrades to properly integrate the new generator into the system. A certified check or bank draft payable to the OWNER or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. If bid amount is $125,000.00 or greater, Payment and Performance Bonds will need to be provided at Contract Signing as described in the Contract Documents Docs notes: Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
