Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cumberland Center, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Town of Falmouth Public Works seeks qualified contractors to provide road resurfacing and other road repair services. Proposal/Scope of Work: o Falmouth Road (from Woodville Rd. to Winn Rd): Grind butt joints where needed, install Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) shim and 9.5mm surface pavement at 1", replace and/or install curb, clean storm drain, replace storm drain, install 210 LF of sidewalk with curb and ADA ramp. The road shall be striped with 10.5' lane widths using 4" double yellow centerline (DYCL) markings and 6" single white edge line (SWEL) markings. o Winn Road (from Falmouth Rd. to Cumberland Town Line): Grind butt joints where needed, install Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) shim and 9.5mm surface pavement at 1", replace and/or install curb, clean storm drain, install roadside swale, replace storm drain and culverts. The road shall be striped with 10.5' lane widths using 4" double yellow centerline (DYCL) markings and 6" single white edge line (SWEL) markings. o Falmouth Road Railroad Crossing Improvements: Install flexible delineators over a length of 75' on the road centerline and install additional MUTCD signage. o Sewer Improvements: This work involves installing new manhole risers and new frame and covers for 23 wastewater manholes, and will include setting the rims to finished grade. Location: The project is located on Falmouth Road (between Woodville Road and Winn Road) and Winn Road (between Falmouth Road and the Town Line). INSURANCE The Contractor shall purchase and maintain Workers' Compensation Insurance, General Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance including vehicle coverage and professional liability insurance, all with limits and terms satisfactory to the Town.
