Greely High School Turf Field Earthwork Contract MSAD #51 Project # 24.29 Cumberland, Maine The work consists of the construction of improvements to the Game Field at MSAD51 Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing grass playing field and ancillary improvements. Site Preparation will involve removal and proper placement of Arsenic laden soils from the existing topsoil layer of the field on-site in accordance with the approved VRAP Plan, requirements of which are included in the contract documents. New improvements include the construction of the stone base, drainage system, and perimeter curbing to support a new synthetic turf field, field lighting improvements, fencing, sidewalks and all supporting site work and infrastructure improvements. The Turf Field System (Turf, infill, and pad) will be supplied and installed by another Vendor under a separate Contract with the Owner. Contractor will need to provide coordination with the Turf Vendor so ensure all work is properly sequenced and installed, and the base preparation is found acceptable by the Turf Vendor for installation of the Turf Field System. The contract shall designate the Substantial Completion Date on or before August 17, 2025, and the Contract Final Completion Date on or before September 15, 2025. The envelope shall contain a completed Contractor Bid Form (section 00 41 13), provided in the Bid Documents, and include bid security when required. Any bid submitted by any other means will not be considered a valid bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as may best serve the interest of the Owner.
