Replacement of two separate existing culverts with two embedded aluminum pipe arch culverts on Mohawk Road, Enfield, ME. Based on the provided Topographic Survey Plan - North, dated October 22, 2021, we understand existing crossing includes a 60-inch corrugated metal pipe with a length on the order of 60 feet. We understand the Mohawk Road is currently at an elevation of about 176 feet (project datum) over the existing culvert. We understand the existing culverts inlet and outlet are at elevations of about 163.7 feet and 163.4 feet, respectively. Payroll costs include, but are not limited to, salaries and wages plus the cost of fringe benefits, which include social security contributions, unemployment, excise, and payroll taxes, workers compensation, health and retirement benefits, sick leave, and vacation and holiday pay applicable thereto. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total Bid price, which shall be in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or bank money order. Cash is not acceptable. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to accept Bid Forms which nominally vary in appearance from the original paper version of the Bid Form, providing that all required information and submittals are included with the Bid. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
