contractors to install a complete non-engineered system and furnish materials to connect septic tanks at the Morgan's Beach facilities to the proposed shared disposal field and the existing field, located on Tax Map 24, Lot 46 in Enfield, Maine. Bid prices must be for a complete, operational 61.2' W x 80' shared septic disposal field, as indicated in the site design plans in the bid documents, including but not limited to: A new Pump Station, trenches and 2" piping connecting existing facility bathroom septic tanks to the new field. A new D-Box on the existing septic field serving the Snack Shack. A new 4" effluent line from the new pump station to the proposed pavilion bathrooms capped off for future use. A new 2" force main line from the existing pump station to the existing field. Questions regarding this RFP are due by 4:00 p.m. on May 7, 2025 Questions regarding this RFP Any questions regarding the work should be directed to the Municipality at least twenty-four hours before bid opening Bidders must have a minimum of three years of experience in septic system installation and provide five references related to septic system installations. A portion of the work will be funded by the DEP Small Community Grant Program and the work will be subject to special requirements of the DEP. The bid award will be based on the total bid price and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder(s).
