The University of Maine Farmington is seeking Bids for the following project: Scott Hall West Window Replacement Replace existing original aluminum single-hung windows on the east and west elevations with new fiberglass windows matching the existing size, type, and configuration. Construction start: May 2027 The Scott Hall West dormitory addition, completed in 2002, is a four-story building with stair towers at its north and south ends. The structure features brick veneer façades on most elevations, with aluminum storefront glazing at the fourth floor. The west elevation faces Front Street, while the east elevation faces an inner courtyard, with primary entry at Level 2 and a walkout Level 1 on the west side. The project involves replacing existing original aluminum single-hung windows on the east and west elevations, many of which are no longer operable and cannot be effectively repaired due to age.
