Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for the Phase 3 upgrade of the Hartland Pollution Control Facility including general conditions and mobilization, temporary construction facilities, demolition and site clearing; structural excavation, trench excavation, ledge excavation and removal; earthwork, backfill, aggregates, crushed stone and compaction; site pavement, rip-rap, site restoration, erosion control and underdrain work; slabs, cast-inplace concrete; masonry, wood framed structures; structural steel, metal building improvements, metal roofing, metal siding, insulation, misc. metals, gratings, railings; rough and finish carpentry, chemical building construction, asphalt roofing, trusses, damp proofing and insulation; siding; fiberglass and steel doors and hardware; overhead doors, windows; painting, flooring, and building fixtures; and all equipment including chlorine contact tank, mixers, RAS/WAS pump, chemical storage and pumping systems, aeration blower with enclosure, coarse bubble diffusers, modify clarifier No. 2 to add aeration for sludge storage, ultrasonic flow meters, process piping, gates, weirs, and valves; expansion joints, pipe hangers and supports; plumbing, heating, and ventilation; electrical wiring, conduits, controls, alarm and instrumentation systems; incidentals as required for complete working system and a full pollution control facility upgrade. Project has an expected duration of 480 days. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. The contractor must comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) requirements contained in the CWSRF Supplementary Conditions.
