The Town of Kennebunk is seeking bids for the Central Fire Station Concrete Floor Project. Sealed proposals, clearly marked "Central Fire Station Concrete Floor Project," will be accepted in the Town Manager's Office. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Bid Specifications The bidder will furnish labor, material, equipment, and the necessary supervision for proper and complete performance of the following work: Preparation and application of coating or polishing materials to concrete Products To Be Applied: Metzger McGuire EdgePro 80 Polyurea Joint Filler or equivalent Polishing Materials Metallic Coatings Floor Preparation: Weekday &weekendworkonstraight time during one mobilization consisting of 4-6 consecutive days. 1. Remove existing VCT tiles 2. Diamond grind floor using 80 grit diamonds 3. Set necessary repairs 4. Route out control joints & fill with Metzger McGuire Edge-Pro 80 Joint Filler or equivalent 5. Apply RioCoat EMP 100% solids self-leveling epoxy pigmented black or equivalent at 10-12 mils 6. Buff the entire work area with 80 grit sanding screen, tack mop, and wash the floor 7. Apply RioCoat EUV-M; UV stable epoxy or equivalent with metallic colorant of choice at 20 mils 8. Buff the entire work area with 80 grit sanding screen, tack mop, and wash the floor 9. Apply RioCoat UHW High-Wear satin urethane clear or equivalent at 3.2 mils broadcasted with 291 aluminum oxide Approximately 2,500 square feet of tile removal and metallic coating. KFR will provide a dumpster on site for disposal of materials Warranty The bidder warrants that the installation of the floor sealer and/or coating will be free from defects due to improper installation for one year from the installation date
