The project is expected to be awarded on December 15, 2025.** The work for the Lewiston Armory Generator Supply and Installation shall consist of, but not be limited to the design and installation of a standby generator at the Lewiston Armory, located at 65 Central Avenue, Lewiston, Maine, 04240 The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the design and installation of a standby generator at the Lewiston Armory, located at 65 Central Avenue, Lewiston, Maine. All work in the contract must be completed no later than July 30, 2026. Interested bidders must register with the Purchasing Agent either through direct response to the City's RFP solicitation or by contacting the Purchasing Agent to be added to the bidders list. All bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting at the Lewiston Armory. Each bidder must state in their proposal their name, place of residence, and the names of all persons or parties interested as principals, and confirm that the proposal is made without any connection to any other bidder for the same work. No person acting for or employed by the City of Lewiston is permitted to have a direct or indirect interest in the proposal or the contract except as provided by the City Charter. The contractor must give personal attention to the faithful prosecution of the work, keep the work under personal control, and is prohibited from assigning or subletting the work without written consent from the Purchasing Agent. Proof of insurance coverage is required. Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Louie Turcotte (LBTurcotte@lewistonmaine.gov) on or before noon, November 12, 2025.
