Both Main St and Central Ave water pump stations were installed in 1986. LCIP26 Central Ave PS: Replace generator and switchboards Total $400,000 LCIP27 Central Ave PS: Replace four VFDs (variable frequency drives) - Total $100,000 As of March 3, 2025, this project is included in the City of Lewiston's Fiscal Year 2026-2030 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2026-2030. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
