Site work for a mixed-use development in Liberty, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Liberty is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to address ongoing drainage issues, water leaks, and poor grading around the Liberty Town Office building. The goal of the project is to improve water management, prevent moisture intrusion, and protect the building foundation and surrounding grounds. Scope of Work The project includes, but is not limited to, the following components: - Inspection and assessment of current drainage and grading conditions - Excavation and regrading around the building perimeter to improve runoff direction - Backfilling with proper materials to promote drainage - Sealing foundation to prevent water intrusion - Restoration of disturbed areas with loam, seed, or crushed stone as appropriate The Town of Liberty Selectboard reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and select the contractor deemed most advantageous to the Town.
