Renovation of an educational facility in Mapleton, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
MSAD #1 is requesting proposals (RFP) for removal and disposal of old fire alarm systems, furnishing, and installing new fire alarm systems in three of its elementary schools (Mapleton, Pine Street, and Zippel). SUMMARY OF SCOPE OF WORK Remove the current installed systems. Furnish and install a complete fire alarm system with necessary detection, initiation, and notification devices for a code compliant system in each elementary school. Scope of work will also include, but not limited to: Required engineering/design drawings for acceptance by AHJ and record as-built drawings provided to MSAD#1 in Adobe PDF format showing location of devices installed and detailed connection information. Deadline for Questions - Questions and/or clarifications concerning this RFP will be accepted via email to viningh@sad1.org through November 17, 2021, 4:00 p.m. Responses and addenda to this RFP, if necessary, are scheduled to be issued by December 1, 2021, 4:00 p.m. No Offeror may rely upon oral responses made by any MSAD #1 employee or representative. All questions received will be answered and shared with all offerors.
