Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mechanic Falls, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of February 17, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. Project will not be awarded until June..** The project involves hot mix asphalt shim, surface paving, and driveway paving (handwork) on North Street (approximately 8,923 linear feet) in Mechanic Falls. The Town of Mechanic Falls will have one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days within which to accept or reject any bid. Work shall be completed on by August 22, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per day are contained in the Contract. The Town of Mechanic Falls reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. Funding for this project is contingent upon voter approval at the Municipal Town Budget Vote in June of 2025. The Town of Mechanic Falls reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Mechanic Falls, not necessarily the lowest bid.
