A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, provide and install a new recessed wet well mounted pump station within a new below grade concrete and wood framed constructed building structure at the Mechanic Falls Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant with all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals provided by the Contractor including all site work, demolition work, removal and relocation of existing garage structure, earthwork, ledge removal, backfill and compaction, cast-in-place concrete structures, wood framed building, main pump station equipment and controls, drain pump station equipment and controls, all associated process piping and supports, approximately 360 LF of 10" 0 DI force main piping, 1" 0 CTS PE process water piping and underground fiber option cable in a common trench; loam and seed, erosion control, temporary pumping, test pits, metals, electrical, SCADA system modifications, heating and ventilation, and all incidentals for the complete installation of a new main pump station at the Mechanic Falls Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Wastewater Treatment Plant Main Pump Station Replacement All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are included in the Instructions to Bidders in the Bidding Documents. The project must comply with the Federal Build America, Buy America Act, the use of American Iron and Steel, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises requirements, all applicable Federal Requirements, and the Davis-Bacon Act regarding prevailing wage rates. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the maximum bid price in the form of a certified check or bid bond. Omissions, discrepancies, interpretations, and questions must be submitted in writing to the Engineer.
