Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Monmouth, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves replacing 2 sections of the existing asphalt sidewalk with a 5-foot-wide sidewalk on Main Street. Section 1 is on the east side of Main Street (approximately 2,165 linear feet) and will include the installation of 21 decorative light poles. Section 2 is on the west side of Main Street (approximately 2,910 linear feet). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the type of bid clearly indicated. All bidders must furnish a completed Bid Form, Experience Record, a list of all subcontractors to be utilized, and a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made out to the Town. The successful bidder must provide a Certificate of Insurance, 100% Construction Performance Bond, and 100% Construction Labor and Material Payment Bond. The Town reserves the right to adjust quantities as needed to stay within budget, reject any and all bids, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town, not necessarily the lowest bid. Work shall be completed by a specified date, and liquidated damages will apply for delays. Please direct questions to the Project Manager, Robert L.
