The Town of Monmouth and the Monmouth Water Association (MWA) are seeking proposals for engineering services to develop an Engineering/Feasibility Report that can be used as a planning tool to assist in decision making regarding capital improvements and the financial structure to bring fire protection and potable water service to the North Monmouth area as shown on the attached project area map. This Report will meet all the requirements of all applicable funding agencies, this report should be a vehicle allowing for funding leaving only the Engineering Design, Permitting and Construction left once funding is obtained. The Report should describe the MWA's existing water system's present condition, analyze and prioritize alternatives to meet the need of the proposed extension, suggest courses of funding to implement improvements, possible rate structure, and estimate costs associated with the recommended improvements. In addition to the Plan, a hydraulic analysis will be included within the scope of work. Funding for this project will be through the ARPA grant received by the Town of Monmouth as well as a possible DWP Capacity Development Grant. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and reserve the right to negotiate the price and scope of tasks as it deems necessary for the appropriate completion of the project The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
