For a single-phase air compressor to produce class D air, four steel bottles for compressed air storage, and a single SCBA air fill station. The bid will cover the following; A compressor to be located in the maintenance room in Shapleigh Fire station. A single fill station along with the control panel to be mounted in a compartment located on the driver side of the truck. The compartment dimensions are height 42 inches, width is 30 inches, and 23 inches deep. Four (4) 6000 psi air cylinders to be mounted in the bed of Squad 1 and to be anchored to the floor. The specification are as follows: a. Air compressor: Bauer legacy vortexon or equal to. A 10 hp single phase electric motor with the following: emergency stop button, automatic condensation drains, compressor on/off switch, finial pressure, automatic pressure switch, oil pressure, high temperature shut down. b. 50 feet of 7000psi hose line to connect the compressor to the fill port on the control panel located on Squad 1. Include a wall mount bracket to hang the line on the wall, when not in use. c. Air cascade control panel that includes; valves for each of the four cascade tanks, the cascade refill port, a valve to the fill station, a regulator for pressures from 2216 to 5500 psi. d. Four (4) 6000 psi un-dot approved steel cylinders with approximate air volume of 510 cubic feet. Cylinders shall have protective rings around the valves as required when mounted horizontally. A rack shall be fabricated to securely hold the cylinder's horizontally to the floor in the rear bed of Squad 1. An aluminum floor shall be installed above the cylinder rack with a hinged access door to protect the cylinders. Price shall include all materials and labor to install and all modification of the entire cascade air system, both in the station and on Squad 1. e. Also included should be training on the entire system along with all maintenance and warranty documentation.
