Site work and paving for a civil project in N Shapleigh, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Vendor to place the attached SEALED BID LABEL to the outside of the proposal envelope. Regional School Unit 57 (RSU 57) is seeking proposals for the site and utility work to construct the septic system replacement including site clearing, new sewer service pipe installation, a new septic tank and disposal field system, decommissioning the existing tank, and associated site grading, drainage, and paving. The project is proposed for the property at 467 Shapleigh Corner Road in Shapleigh, Maine. The work to be performed can begin on or after June 18, 2025 and shall be completed on or before August 22, 2025 All bids must be made upon the forms provided. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100 percent of the Contract price. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by RSU #57. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words.
