Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2506100 WIN 025061.00 Location: In Kennebec County, Interstate 95 Northbound/ County Road (Bridge Number 5816), Interstate 95 Northbound/ Messalonskee Stream (Bridge Number 5817), and Interstate 95 Northbound/ Main Street (Bridge Number 5818) projects begin approximately 0.75 of a mile northerly of Oakland town line and extending easterly approximately 0.75 of a mile in the city of Waterville. In Kennebec and Somerset County, C.A. Clouson Northbound (Bridge Number 6000) is located approximately 0.2 of a mile easterly of US Route 201. In Kennebec County, Interstate 95 Northbound/ River Road (Bridge Number 5993) project is located approximately 0.5 of a mile easterly of Fairfield town line. Scope of Work: Interstate 95 Northbound bridge preservation projects plus other incidental work. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
