Site work for a water / sewer project in Ogunquit, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope of Work: 1. Pre-Dredge Phase: - Detach nine lateral mooring chains in Perkins Cove Harbor and pile them on the adjacent banks. - Identify and remove nine derelict chains from the harbor. - Dispose of derelict chains in accordance with local regulations. 2. Dredge Phase: - No direct involvement required, as this phase will be conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers. 3. Post-Dredge Phase: - Retrieve mooring chains from the banks and stretch them back across the harbor. - Re-secure the mooring chains in their original positions. The successful bidder will be chosen at a public meeting of the Select Board. The bid shall be awarded based on the bid most advantageous to the Town and meeting specifications. The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid deficiencies as they may deem to be in the best interests of the Town, which includes but is not limited to quality of commodity, commodity's warranty, speed of delivery, and the demonstration service record of the vendor. The Town will notify the successful bidder within 20 days of the bid opening.
