The Town of Ogunquit is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced architectural firms to prepare design and construction documents, Bid phase services and Construction Administration in conjunction with the demolition and construction of town facilities. The scope of the project as currently is to demolish the existing Ogunquit Village School building and design and construct a new combined Town Offices and Police Station facility. This project is to take place at the Town current campus location. Questions and clarifications shall be submitted in writing no later than October 04, 2023, at 11:00AM to Anthony DiLuzio (Adiluzio@ogunquit.gov). This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Maine General Laws and the by- laws adopted by the Town. Any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation and the instructions contained herein. A quality-based selection process will be used to select the Architect. The Town Manager acting through the Board of Selectmen has been authorized as the contracting entity for the purposes of this project and shall oversee all contractual obligations on behalf of the Awarding Authority. The Town reserves the right to negotiate a final scope and fee with the chosen firm. The selected firm may be retained through other project phases or associated campus improvements pending additional funding authorization, without solicitation for up to 18 months.
