Scope of Work: The scope of work includes: o Removing the existing wood shingles to side wall sheathing. o Install and encapsulate entire building sidewall with Certainteed Cedar Impressions double seven-inch straight edge perfection shingle, including all trims, accessories with white PVC composite J-Pocket corner boards. o For windows the trim must be 1x4 AZEK trim, with 1x6 window headers, and Fypon or plastic crown molding above headers. o The crown fascia, rake, crown molding and soffit will remain as is since it is in good condition, and will preserve the historic integrity. o Dispose of all debris. Bid form should be filled out by person authorized to commit work and should include: 1. Materials to be used for siding 2. Material to be used around windows 3. Materials to be used for crown molding above headers. 4. Total project cost 5. At least three (3) references of similar work 6. Schedule of work to include substantial completion and final completion date. 7. List how long the proposal is valid. The Town of Old Orchard Beach is soliciting bids to replace the siding at the Harmon Museum located at 4 Portland Ave., in Old Orchard Beach Maine 04064. The Town of Old Orchard Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or negotiate with particular bidders following the opening without right or recourse by bidders, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
