Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Pittston, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
complete site and landscape improvements for the reconstruction of Dearborn Park, an approximately 60' x 75' public park, located between 266 and 280 Water Street in the downtown district. The contract includes all site work associated with the reconstruction of the park. Some of the demolition within the existing park will be done by the City's Public Works Department. The new site work will include structural fill, grading, six (6) concrete block retaining walls, wood and composite stairs, site lighting, concrete paver plazas, landscaping and all other works specified in the contract documents. The work is financed in part with Community Development Block Grant funds. Contractors should be aware that they must comply with various federal regulations including Davis-Bacon Labor standards and the environmental regulations. It is the Contractors responsibility to know and understand these standards.
