Renovation of an educational facility in Portland, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Outline of Work : Provide materials and labor for replacing one stairway chair lift and providing two additional stairway chair lifts at the Deering High School in Portland, Maine. Work includes complete demolition and disposal of the existing chair lift and other components as indicated; install three stairway chair lifts and complete other miscellaneous work as outlined on the approved plans and specifications. Only those firms represented at this meeting may bid on the project. Bidders should go to the Main Office of the school. Masks must be worn for the entire pre-bid meeting. Please bring your own mask as masks will not be provided. In the event of inclement weather, if Portland Schools and/or City operations have been cancelled, any scheduled pre-bid meetings will be cancelled as well. Please check the local media outlets, the City of Portland Public Schools website and/or call the City's Purchasing Office, 207-874-8654 regarding any postponement. NOTE: Every effort will be made to provide as much forewarning as possible regarding these decisions.
