The Town of Rangeley (hereinafter the Town) requests sealed written proposals for improvements to the Town Dock located at the end of Lake Street. The dock is a wood-framed composet-deck stationary dock with a crib and boulder substructure. The dock is used for swimming and is referred to locally as the "Swim Dock" as well as the "Town Dock." The intent of this request is to assist the Town in determining the best path forward for this structure. The RFP will ask for pricing for different options - proposers are free to provide a proposal for one or more of the options listed below. General Specifications Provide a cost proposal to remove and dispose of the existing dock including all underwater cribbing; Provide a cost proposal to remove and deisose of the exiting dock including all inferior underwater cribbing and rebuild a dock of the same construction and dimensions as existing.
