As of March 20, 2026 Project has not been awarded. Project will be awarded on the month of June" The project involves work on Beedle Road in two parts. The first part is approximately 12,610 linear feet and includes full depth pavement reclamation, fine grading, variable depth gravel base, and hot mix asphalt base paving. The second part is approximately 26,170 linear feet and includes shim and surface paving, and installing gravel shoulders for the entire length of Beedle Road from Route 201 to Route 24. There is also an Additive Alternate Bid for grass-lined ditching, shim and surface paving, and installing gravel shoulders on approximately 8,450 linear feet on New Road. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the type of bid clearly indicated on the outside. All bidders must furnish a completed Bid Form, Experience Record, a list of all subcontractors, and a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Certificate of Insurance, 100% Construction Performance Bond, and 100% Construction Labor and Material Payment Bond. The Town of Richmond reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed to stay within the project budget and to reject any or all bids, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Richmond, not necessarily the lowest bid.
