As of 01/03/2022 This project has been cancelled. The Town of Scarborough is soliciting proposals for construction services for Phillips Brook Stream Restoration at the Public Works Yard Complete in-stream restoration using root wads and log sills; stabilize road shoulder between Payne Road and Phillips Brook with riprap; and complete flood plain restoration. All in-stream restoration work shall comply with all Federal and State regulations. Copies of all permits should be onsite and available for reference and review when any work is to be taking place at the site. The Town of Scarborough has done remedial work at the laydown yard site in preparation for this scope of work. Coordination with the Town is required throughout the project. A preconstruction meeting will be required prior to the start of construction which will include Engineering, Public Works, and the selected contractor. All work associated with the project shall conform with MaineDOT standard specifications and pay items unless otherwise specified on the plans or in this specification document. Contractors bidding on this project must be certified by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection in best management practices for erosion and sedimentation control. Project completion will be required September 11, 2022.
