** As of May 30, 2025, project was awarded to Eaton Paving & Excavation, awarded amount is $2,800** Regional School Unit #24 is requesting proposals to pave at the Charles M. Sumner Learning Campus located at 2165 US Rte 1,in Sullivan, Maine, placing pavement for two connecting walk-ways and a parking area . Projects must be completed no later than June 30th, 2025. Regional School Unit #24 reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals. Regional School Unit #24 is requesting proposals to pave at the Charles M. Sumner Learning Campus located at 2165 US Route 1, in Sullivan, Maine. Part #1: Place pavement at two connecting walkways between parking two parking lots, one approximate 5' x 17' area and one approximate 5' x 25' area, removing top soil, supply and install shim gravel as needed, clean and tack coat edges of existing pavement, pave with 2" compacted 9.5 HMA; Part #2: Place pavement at lower east side of exit drive for parking, 234' x 18' (approx.), grade and slope existing gravel, supply and install shim material as needed, grind, clean, prep edge of existing pavement: Alt. #1 Pricing: Prep and grade as above with 2 1/2 " compacted 12.5 mm HMA Binder Only (No Surfacing); Alt. #2 Pricing: Prep and grade as above, lay 2 1/4 " compacted 19 mm HMA Binder, tack coat binder as needed, lay 1 1/4 " compacted 9.5 mm HMA Surface.
