Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Topsham, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The project is for the demolition of the Jackson Station, a decommissioned drinking water treatment plant located at 266 River Road in Topsham, ME. The objective is to remove the entire structure, including all subgrade components, and complete an ecological restoration of the site. The Progressive Design Build Project Delivery method will be used due to the complexity of the site restoration and the desire to pay a fair price based on potential complexities. A key factor for success is organizing a project team that can work cooperatively with the Brunswick & Topsham Water District from demolition through to restoring the site to its original, pre-facility condition. Each proposer must submit a single sealed package marked "Statement of Qualifications for Jackson Station Demolition." Proposers must use complete sets of Request for Qualification Documents in preparing their submission. Failure to submit required information within the indicated times may result in disqualification. The RFQ Documents may only be used for the purpose of obtaining a Statement of Qualifications and do not confer any other rights to the proposer.
