The COUNTY OF HANCOCK is seeking to retain the services of a consultant, or consultants, experienced in airport planning advisory services in the State of Maine, for a multi-year Airport Planner. The services requested include, but are not limited to, providing planning services for the Hancock County – Bar Harbor Airport. Interested firms should have adequate financial resources, necessary experience, organization, technical and professional qualification, skills, and facilities, and be able to comply with required schedules and demonstrate a satisfactory record of performance. Instructions to bidders include submitting a qualification and experience statement limited to 20 pages (excluding cover letter, table of contents, and dividers) in size 12-point font. The statement should follow a specific outline: A. Experience: List previous and current contracts of similar scope performed in the past five years, including contract duration, services performed, and agency contact information. B. Ability to Perform: Demonstrate familiarity with similar projects by listing previous Airport Planning and Engineering Advisory programs completed within the last five years. C. Key Staff Members: Identify staff client manager and key project managers assigned to work, including one-page resumes for each. D. Local Knowledge: Demonstrate familiarity with Hancock County – Bar Harbor Airport and its systems. E. Company Background Material: Provide background, experience, and reputation of the firm. F. References: Submit three work-related job references.
