The work involves renovating the existing building, making site improvements, replacing pumps, valves, and controls, and installing a new generator for the Chase Avenue Pump Station Upgrades Project for the Kennebec Water District in Waterville, Maine. Bidders are required to comply with the Build America, Buy America Act, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, nondiscrimination in employment and labor standards (including the President's Executive Order No. 11246), Davis-Bacon requirements, and various federal requirements such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and associated regulations. A certified check or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid must be submitted with each bid.
