Snow clearing and salting of Town sidewalks and crosswalks for the winter seasons. Duration: November 1, 2024, to April 30, 2026. Responsibilities: 1. To be available and ready to work when called. 2. Coordinate with Wells Public Works any changes that may be needed. 3. Provide the necessary equipment and manpower for snow removal and salting. 4. Ensures consistent monitoring and clearing during and post-snowfall. Sidewalks: 1. Post Road North side of the sidewalk - from post office to mile road. 2. Post Road southside of sidewalk- from RT109 to the Library. Small piece in front of (Dunkin Donuts). Then from Walgreens to Falls Park Road. 3. RT109/ Sanford Road - From Wells Elementary School to Post Road on one side. 4. Mile Road - From Post Road to pump station on one side. 5. Harbor Road - From Post Road to the first entrance of the harbor Park Parking lot Town's Right to reject: The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bid received and to accept the proposal deemed to be most favorable to the best interest of the Town. Insurance: The vendor shall provide the following insurances in accordance with the general conditions. A. Workers compensation Insurance. The vendor shall maintain in full force at all times Workers Compensation Insurance labor employed. Workers Compensation coverage must meet the statutory obligations of the state and Employer's Liability Insurance in the amount of $4000,000 each policy, $400,000 each accident and disease. The vendor shall supply evidence of the same to the Town of Wells.
