Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Westbrook, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Westbrook, Maine seeks proposals from qualified paving contractors for paving work on local roads throughout the City. The work includes paving approximately 6,925 linear feet and additional roadway improvements in 2026 on Allen Avenue, Ash Street, Edna Joy Lane, Harrisburg Avenue, Jensen Lane, Little Avenue, Libby Avenue, Liza Harmon Drive, and Prospect Street. In 2027, the work consists of paving approximately 3,060 linear feet on Pierce Street. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract and will be on a unit price basis. Contractors must obtain at least one set of bidding documents from the issuing office to be considered responsive. All questions must be submitted in writing at least three business days before the bid opening date. The City of Westbrook reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 03/31/2026 Questions must be submitted in writing to Katherine Kelley at least three business days before the opening date. Questions received after this time will not be addressed.
