BASE BID (CLIN 0001): o Demo ceiling tiles and remove ceiling grid where new wall will be built. o Demo carpet at wall location in middle of room. o Install new fire alarm components in new room that match existing alarm. o Connect wiring for fire alarm to necessary power supply. o Program fire alarm system. o Construct new 3-5/8" metal studs, 5/8" sound board drywall on each side, and acoustical insulation between studs. o Paint 1 primer layer and 2 coats of paint to match existing color. o Install ceiling grid and ceiling tile matching the existing system and tile. o Install cove base to new wall to match existing. o Install glass door to match existing, hardware, with cypher lock. o Install new light switch & separate lighting so lights work independently. GENERAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION NOTES: Any references to State Government, Federal Government, or Industry standards or specifications made herein shall form a part of this specification to the extent referenced thereto and all materials and workmanship under this contract shall comply with or exceed these standards and references. All manufactured equipment and products shall be new materials in good condition and installed as per manufacturer's latest printed instructions, unless specified otherwise herein.
