Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for construction of a new Animal Shelter for Franklin County to be located at 81 State Street, Town of Rocky Mount, Virginia The planned construction generally consists of a free standing 5500 SF +/- single story building to serve as the County's new Animal Shelter. The project includes all associated sitework. The Project also includes installation of interior/exterior kennels, a sallyport, prefabricated wood roof trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, masonry and siding exterior finishes and all associated HVAC, electrical and plumbing to serve the new facility. Franklin County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in any bid, and to award the contract to some other than the lowest bidder if in its best interest.
