Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 13, 2021, this project has been awarded to Bowman Construction in the amount of $2,722,456.20 by the Franklin County Board of Supervisors. The anticipated start date is August, 2021. The project consists of the turnkey construction of an approximate 1,035-foot road extension within the Summit View Business Park starting at the southern park entrance past the ValleyStar Credit Union entrance connecting to Pleasant Breeze Road. Should the apparent low Bid exceed available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. Bidders shall comply with Virginia Code Section 54.1-1112 regarding information required with Bid. Envelopes containing Bids shall be clearly marked with the Bidders contractor license number and the project title Summit View Business Park D3 Road Segment.
